Cuban Missile Crisis
During the Cuban Missile Crisis Fidel Castro acquired 40 nuclear missiles from the Soviets. When he did this it created a huge threat for the United States. In fact J.F.K almost declared war. After many secret conversations between the United States and the Soviet Union the missiles were removed.

So, Fidel Castro was not a huge factor during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
ReplyDeleteFidel was not involved in those secret talks between the U.S. and the USSR, so he would have kept the missiles, and allowed a war.
